Abstract

The process of spermatogenesis initiated in testis is completed in the uterus of the female. Spermatogonia proliferate at the tip of testis, divide mitotically to form spermatocytes which increase in size and undergo a reduction division to form the spermatids. Thespermatazoa found in the fertilization chamber of female consist of the nuclear material only.
